It is always advisable to wear protective eyewear and rubber gloves when working with products such as Boeshield T-9®.
Boeshield T-9®
Boeshield T-9® was developed over 40 years ago by The Boeing Company due to a need for a penetrating lubricant with corrosion prevention properties that effectively clings to metal surfaces exposed to extreme conditions.
Boeshield T-9® is a proprietary blend of carrier solvents and paraffin wax. Its low viscosity formulation penetrates deeply into pores and tight spaces, carrying in the waxy solute. Over time (4-24 hours) the solvents evaporate leaving behind the lubricating and protective qualities of the waxes.
Longevity depends on the application and rate of use. Additional applications may be required based on external conditions for maximum protection. For heavy film with max protection, spray on and allow to set. For lighter film, spray on and wipe off.
